Branding and identity for Rocksalt - Folkestone's hottest new restaurant
Headed up by renowned chef and Gordon Ramsay protégé Mark Sargeant, Rocksalt is Folkestone’s newest destination restaurant, serving the very best of local produce in a fantastic harbour-side location.
Although the client preferred the idea of working with a Kent design agency, Pebble Shores was invited to pitch for the branding, design and roll-out for all marketing collateral against two other established Kent design agencies - and we came through with flying colours.
In developing the brand identity, we wanted to give it something that was reflective of the location, but not overtly fish orientated, given there is a very balanced menu offering. Our logo identity consequently contained a subtle ‘hidden fish’ within the logotype that was then rolled out in all marketing collateral from the physical signage, menus and all promotional materials, all created, designed and produced by Pebble Shores.
With one very happy client, a packed restaurant every night and some rave reviews, Rocksalt has got off to the very best start, and a project we are deeply proud to have been involved with.
