Delivering a freight forwarding company’s new identity
March 2010
When newly formed freight forwarding company Freight Forty Four wanted a striking new identity, they turned to Pebble Shores for help. Operating from Folkestone and spending much time delivering all over Europe, owner-operator Richard Chappell wanted something clean, simple and easily recognisable.
Once Richard showed us his thoughts - quite literally scribbled on a piece of scrap-paper - we set about to work. Although the name was written as Forty-4, we felt that by altering slightly to the digits ‘44′ and projecting these as the point of focus, a more prominent and memorable brand could be created.
Bold use of bright orange, complemented by silver-grey type, has given the brand a sleek, unique and confident look. Working with vehicle graphics specialists Andy Cobb, (www.andygraphix.co.uk) this branding was applied using reflective and luminous materials to Richard’s vehicles.
Commenting on the branding, Richard said “I’m really pleased with the result. It’s given my company a great look and instant stand-out from my competition. From one quick meeting, I was able to leave this to Daniel and the Pebble Shores team to sort and they delivered.”
